I’ve learned the trick to travel days with kids: snacks that actually fill them up. @perfectbar has 15g of protein, 20+ superfoods, and buys me at least 10 minutes of peace lol. If you’ve been here long enough you know it’s the first thing I pack for my boys because they love these bars. The rest was salted pistachios, turkey slices, dried mango, celery, cucumbers, oranges, meat sticks, rice cakes, crackers, trail mix and cheese. I use my packit bag to keep my perfect bars and the rest of the refrigerated snacks cold for hours. 6 hours in the sky, 1 hour drive to our hotel.. this makes traveling much easier ? #perfectbarpartner

If you’re looking for a sign to travel with your kids, here it is ?? It’s not always easy, but neither is anything worth doing. You learn as you go — and it gets smoother every time. That’s life, right? Trial, error, and a little more grace each time around. I’m so proud of them. We’re growing up together, and in a lot of ways, they’re healing parts of my childhood self. I’m doing the things I once wished for, and gaining perspective on how wild it is to be both the adult and the parent. I don’t have it all figured out — and I tell my kids that. I used to think grownups knew everything, but honestly? No one really knows what they’re doing. It’s kind of freeing. Life’s just learning in real time and staying curious. I actually think kids understand way more than we give them credit for — their feelings, their intuition, the world around them. That’s my take, anyway. There’s no handbook for any of this. I’ve learned there’s no “right” way to do it — just your way. Kids watch how you live, not just what you say. So I do my best to show up for myself, hoping they see what that can look like. We’re not just making memories, we’re making patterns — the kind I hope they carry into their own lives someday.
