Whew! Back home and all settled after 2 back-to-back, cross-country competitions!! First and foremost, I have to thank @nicolezapoli and Declan for doing the trips with me and all their love and support! Then, thank you to the @inbapnbaglobal_official for continuing to put on the best #naturalbodybuilding shows from Coast to Coast! First stop was #theicons in Tampa, FL. (Got the "W" in Pro Men's Physique Open). And then we had our follow-on annual family vacay/celebration weekend down in #siestakey [???? for all those still affected in that area] Next up was the #inba #pnba @ohs4life #teamusa in Las Vegas, a show near and dear to me, and a lot of us that have been with the INBA for a hot minute. I took 1st in Masters Pro Men's Physique and 2nd in Open! Congrats @pmf_pro_hugo, and to all in our stacked lineup! Thank you @gainsinbulk for the continued support and the best products to keep me ready on and off stage! Thank you @tanningbyshawnjohn @karimrocasa for the best stage color and service and taking care of me after getting roasted and bitten up by FL sun/bugs ??‍♂️??‍♂️ Thank you to all the other sponsors and vendors who support us... Anyone else I've gotten, sorry! Much respect and love to everyone out there in this sport and/or wants to get into it... It's fairly common to hear what we do is "inspiring"; and I'm pretty certain I understand what they mean and it's a great honor and I am humbled to hear that, and thankful...but I've also often wondered what exactly I've inspired people to, or to what end ?? ...I got to meet some new and aspiring competitors this last weekend that have on some level been watching and following me through the years (which is rad, and again humbled), but what blew my mind even more was learning that I had a profound effect on one of the more veteran competitors and just pushing him in his development (wow! Thank you @eric.lipton ????) ...IDK, it's dangerously late to be thinking and writing haha, but again, much love and respect... And wherever in your fitness journey you are, just keep pushing yourself to be better, you'll never know how much of an impact you can have on another...??????

(Well, you may have already seen the stories, and all the other posts, so here's mine ?) WOW!!! This year's @inbapnbaglobal_official #naturalolympia was an epic trifecta for me: competing on my actual #birthday , and #veteransday , and getting the #win in #pro #mensphysique Masters (also took 4th in Open, in an incredible lineup of 32 of the best natural bodybuilding men's physique competitors in the world... Not bad for a 43 year old #dadbod !) So first off, I just wanted to say thank you for all the happy birthdays, #tyfys , and congrats! Thank you as always to the #inba #pnba for providing this amazing organization/stage/family that we love and gives back so much!! @gainsinbulk for their continued support. @tanningbyshawnjohn for the unbeatable color. @ghiselaluxurybikinis for tailoring my shorts. And most of all, my family @nicolezapoli and our little #deckyboo. So glad and proud this is something we can do together as a young family (maybe we'll reassess when he's way more mobile and active ??). And how impressed am I with Nicole, the literal/#ultimatebodybuilder ???, What an amazing first year: prepping and getting on stage ~6 months post-partum, getting Pro Qualified (Figure) her 3rd show, Pro Debuting at Team USA (and picking up Pro Card in Sports Model), and then the Pro Stage at the Natural Olympia, standing among the best in the world!! And we definitely could not have done it without my brother from another mother @kalifornia1904!! Thanks for cruising with us and taking care of little man while we both took care of business on the stage, my dude!! Here's to a great season and great Natural Olympia!! Great seeing everyone and congratulations on your placings!! Time to enjoy the upcoming #holidayseason and relax and start thinking about next year! Cheers all!!

Hey, alright, we did it!! Came back to Tampa for the @inbapnbaglobal_official ICONS PRO/AM!! This time I was able to secure the W! ? (Last year, it was the Natural Universe, and I took 2nd...Good thing @promotown2g2_ wasn't there this time ?) But beyond that, thank you #inba #pnba for another great show! It was an honor to be up there with other great men's physique pros @devon_moore029 @effort_fitness_apparel @2scoops3224 @theonlystoney ! And @showtimekeithkeith graced us with his presence ? and it's always good to see old and new faces of the INBA family! And best of all, I got cheered on by my two biggest fans @nicolezapoli and Declan???❤️ Thank you @gainsinbulk for the continued amazing support @tanningbyshawnjohn for the amazing stage color @ghiselaluxurybikinis for tailoring my shorts.  Thank you all again!! We had a follow on mini-vacay in #siestakey which was great and fun...and now we're still trying to get home (?????? @americanair... Stuck in DFW )

*whew* Well, now that all the smoke has cleared from a dynamite #4thofjuly weekend ??? I did it! ?? I was able to defend my title as the @inbapnbaglobal_official Mr. & Ms. USA Pro Men's Physique Open Champion! I also made my debut in the #masters category #oldman Thank you #inba #pnba and @fitforpurposemonica and the staff, crew, judges, and vendors she curated for putting on such a great event! Every year, it gets better! And this year was even more special: I got to bring my whole #fambam! Little Man did so great traveling #firstflight, and @nicolezapoli ??? ? she graced the stage and did amazing!! So impressed and proud of her! And just so special we did this together! ? Thank you to @gainsinbulk for continuing to support me with the best products! @tanningbyshawnjohn for unbeatable perfect stage color! @ghiselaluxurybikinis for tailoring my boardshorts! Beyond competition, so glad to have shared the stage with brothers @d00d0060 @wittigworks @rgtherd! Great to see friends and veterans of the sport and meet new ones. Woo!! Great start to my competition season!! First competition of the year, and it was a win!! ? So honored to compete at the inaugural @inbapnbaglobal_official #southernusa championship! Great job to the #inba #pnba and @chris_nattypro for putting on this show. Not the biggest show, but, what we lacked in numbers, we made up for in great fun, great people and athletes! So fun to meet and talk to a lot of new competitors, welcoming them to the INBA, giving tips, and just cheering each other on! It will be great to see this show grow more and more each year! Congrats to everyone who competed today!! Again want to thank the INBA/PNBA, Chris for putting on this show.
