Sometimes the hardest thing isn’t being alone — it’s facing the fear of it. For so long I thought I couldn’t do things alone, I was too afraid, I thought it would be awkward or I would get weird looks.? But learning to go for that coffee alone, to travel alone, to sit with my own thoughts without running away… that’s when I gained the confidence, trust and to comfort within myself. I learned a lot and also learned to love jt !?? Doing stuff out of your comfort zone and alone opens so many new doors and creates adventures you didn’t think would happen to you - believe me. So just do it, try it and you’ll see?

So much has happened over the past months - many fears have been faced and walls have been broken down. Lots of learning, lessons and realisations, tears of happiness and sadness. Saying yes instead of ‘idk if I can’ which led to lots of unexpected adventures I never think I would have done.? Feeling proud of myself is something I never felt this strongly before and the way of finding peace has been the toughest but most rewarding thing this year so far.?? I’m curious and excited for what’s to come bc I know I’m strong and whatever happens I can handle. amen to that!?? In my last relationship I always had to wonder, and I always was hoping that person was still into me. I didn’t realise how much this unsurety did to my mental health until I came to a point I couldn’t deal with it anymore.? And I came to realise I deserved more and someone who was sure about me.. Now I would never settle for anything less I feel like I deserve and what is best for me. You deserve someone who’s rooting for you, uplifts you and shows you he/she likes you. It’s very cliche - but if he wants to, he would. No one should leave you guessing - note to self/a reminder for you schatjes ♥️

Real talk ✨ There was a time when I only wanted to be seen in “good lighting.” Shadows that made my skin look smooth, angles where my legs looked slimmer, places where it seemed like the things I struggled with simply disappeared.. And then there was the “bad lighting.” The sunlight or gym light or fitting room that showed every dimple, every uneven spot, every little thing I was so desperate to hide and it demotivated me so much.? I used to think that only one version of me was worthy/motivating to others, and the other… not so much. But here’s what I’ve learned: Don’t let lighting decide your worth or put a shadow on the amount of hard work you’ve put in. Because lighting can change the view, but never the value or effort. This is my body in two lights — both are real, both belong to me. The truth is: cellulite, lipedema, texture… they don’t make my body less. They make it human. what a week this was ??? it brought me so much joy, relaxation and happiness - I can’t really describe it. It was exactly what I need from a holiday this year!! For the first time in many years doing this job I actually gave myself some time off and it was the best decision ??
