I had to post this as my very first Rouge photo because it truly captures how I feel about this cosplay. ????? I’m beyond happy with the result, and honestly… a childhood dream came true ✨ Rouge was one of the first female video game characters I really connected with. I played Sonic Adventure 2 as a kid on the GameCube (without a memory card so I never finished it). Recently, I got it on Steam and finally get to heal my inner child ?✨ Fun fact: Little me once spent all my savings on a Rouge figure because I loved her that much. So, creating this cosplay wasn’t just a fun idea it had to be perfect. ??✨️ What started as a “small side project” turned into a monster project. Time to finally show you the shoes I made for my Rouge the Bat cosplay! ?✨ You know… the ones that almost drove me insane. Oops.. ?? I started with basic white boots and airbrushed the soles black, after that silver.. ?? but I wasn’t happy with how they turned out… so I took matters (and over 8,000 rhinestones) into my own hands. Literally.. ??? Every. Single. Stone. Glued on by hand. One by one. Send help. ?‍??? Then I added velvet heart tips for the toes (one for each shoe!) ? and even made a matching thigh strap out of velvet and sparkly gems ✨ Because Rouge deserves extra.
