?Cafe Secret Alley, Kandy Showing my face (or well… my bum in this one ?) on here after a while! Life’s been full of changes lately, with both of us going through some shifts on the work front, things have been a little quiet around here. Work took us to Kandy last weekend, and we finally checked out this cute little spot that’s been sitting on my saved list forever. It’s tucked away down an alley, and finding it added to the overall experience, once I got over my lazy tantrum about having to walk there, of course. Big portions, chill vibes, and pretty decent value for money. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area! ???

May Recap ♥️ A little late, but better late than never, because May was truly one for the books ? 1 - The biggest (and hardest) part of May was saying goodbye to the big U ? 2 - Kicked off the month with a trip to Mannar. Untouched and so beautiful ? 3 - Spent a long weekend in Hatton and it was pure cozy vibes ? 4 - Work took me to Dambulla for a quick two day trip, the weather was perfect. Not too hot, no crazy rains ☀️ 5 - Indulged in some insanely good Pakistani homecooked food!! 100% worth the food coma ? 6 - Partied a little too hard with @mayukha_ab ? 7 - Might have forced a bunch of undergrads to listen to my career story and my two cents on shaping their careers ? 8 - Ate a bunch of cakes that reminded me my colleagues truly were the best part of my job ❤️ Well, what do I know? They really were. ❤️? 9 to 12 - Ugly tears and lots of hugs and kisses later, I finally said bye to the big U ? A place that’s been more than just a workplace. Its seen me stumble, grow, find my purpose and grow into the person I am today ? May, you were magic ❤️ Thank you for reminding me, I’m so damn blessed ?

The long weekend in Hatton looked a bit like this: 1 - Gartmore Falls doing its thing ?? 2 - The stunning Aberdeen Falls ❤️ heart officially stolen ❤️ 3 - Rice and curry with a side of those views. Yummers! 4 - Sunset skies from @the.farm.resorts ✨ 5 - Upcot charm in full swing ⛰️ 6 - One more from Gartmore Falls, because that sky? So pretty! ? P.S. Upper Gartmore was a bit of an Instagram vs. reality moment for us. Pretty on social media, but up close it was crowded and littered. Sri Lankan Villas we ❤️ ? @mosvold.villa Ahangama has quietly become our go-to spot when we need a lazy getaway. Great food? ✅ Comfy stays? ✅ A beach just steps away? ✅ So naturally, when the Avurudu buzz settled, we found ourselves back in Ahangama. We checked in to @mosvold.villa , holed up in our cozy room, soked up all the sun, ate way too much on full board, and had the absolute best time doing nothing at all. 10/10 would lazy travel again ?
