I often share my food tours on Instagram, and I’m grateful for all the amazing people I’ve met over the years through this work ? This morning I attended the Meet The Artist Brunch organized by @felice.berlin_ x @offsite_arts at the new Berlin space of @wehrmuehle (an independent art institution and annual exhibition platform based in Biesenthal). The location — a formerly abandoned building on Brunnenstraße — now hosts artist studios, reading and sound listening sessions, and intimate public programs. Everything was beautifully curated by @sophia.sorg from @felice.berlin_ ✨ a Berlin-based cultural project rooted in pop-up gallery formats and artist activations. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that in my free time, when I’m not exploring restaurants or trendy food spots ? Yesterday, I attended the press dinner @restaurant_root ? located inside @telegraphenamt.berlin ✨ We were welcomed with a glass of champagne, followed by a short tour of two rooms in the hotel, led by the CEO. One room overlooks the street, while the other faces the inner courtyard. The design is elegant and refined. Afterwards, we enjoyed a sushi aperitif experience with Chef Ryota Terashima, who explained us through the premium ingredients and even revealed a few of his culinary secrets. Everything was prepared live in front of us ? Dinner followed, starting with several appetizers like Jakobsmuscheln, Japanese Caesar Salad, and the Chef’s Sushi Selection. For the mains, we had chilled sesame noodles, wild duck filet, and U.S. flank steak — each dish beautifully presented and full of flavor. A selection of desserts rounded off the evening perfectly. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was wonderful. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, especially after reading about it in one of my favorite magazines @condenasttraveller ?
