The Twisted Gradient Chain in solid sterling silver. ?️?Entirely handmade by me at my studio in New York City. First I start by fashioning the links in dozens of different sizes to create a smooth gradient. Then I solder each link closed and twist it into an organic form. No two links are exactly the same. A peek at the process behind one of my most technically complex pieces, the T Clasp Chain. ?️ Even though this looks like a chain of standard jewelry clasps, each one is actually handmade by me in solid sterling silver. The links need to be fabricated and soldered in situ to keep everything together. The only difference between the chain of clasps and the real clasp is one tiny extra jump ring, which gives the real clasp enough space to open and close. ?
