We love that it’s truly open to all ages, with different difficulty levels for everyone! AESTHETIC CAFES IN DALLAS SERIES, PART 10: KYOTOBREW, A JAPANESE-INSPIRED COFFEE SHOP NEAR DALLAS Right in the heart of Lancaster, @kyotobrew is a cozy, Japanese-inspired coffee shop 20 minutes south of Dallas. This adorable, neighborhood spot serves some of the best matcha and coffee we’ve had in the metroplex, transforming into a laid-back cocktail bar by night! COFFEE, MATCHA, HOJICHA Kyotobrew’s drink menu has classic and specialty options, including hojicha and matcha lattes that you can dress up with some of their house-made syrups. We got an iced hojicha latte with miso caramel and a strawberry iced matcha with pistachio milk…and both were incredible! Plus, you can tell their matcha and roasted green tea is high-quality, and it really sets their drinks apart! PASTRIES BAKED FRESH DAILY Their pastries are a true standout, and you’ll even see a sign outside their shop from the main street coming in that reads “Cinnamon Rolls Baked Fresh Today!!” We obviously had to get their Pecan Cinnamon Roll and their Jalapaño Cheddar Kolache, both served warm and packed with so much flavor. A COZY IZAKAYA VIBE Kyotobrew feels like stepping into a cozy izakaya in Japan. With soft lighting, lush plants, and minimalistic decor, it’s the perfect spot to relax and sip! The ambiance is intimate, inviting, and warm, ideal for working remotely or having a good conversation! COCKTAIL BAR BY NIGHT As the day transitions into evening, Kyotobrew transforms into a cocktail bar. The creative cocktail menu, crafted by award-winning George Kaiho, who previously worked at Tei-An, has delicious, inventive drinks like the Spiked Hojicha Latte- a bourbon-based drink with roasted green tea and oat milk. His experience elevates the evening vibe, and the drinks are all incredible!
