When I started my barefoot journey, I was definitely not ready to make big investments, but I wanted to try toe socks, so my first purchase was cheap ones from Amazon. I then found good deals on @injinji socks, and I finally tried some @knitido_plus_usa . After posting about my experience, I tried @serasox and @xoskinusa and wanted to tell you about the @earthrunners tabi socks too. . New socks: . Serasox: Super soft material, I love the feel against my toes. Material: bamboo rayon Price: $16 . Xoskin: Several of you recommended these to me and I had no idea they existed, so thank you . They use a 3D seamless knitted design and are made to be durable with athletes in mind. Materials: 65% RAPIDriCOPPER , 20% Nylon, 15% Elastane Price: $21.60 . Earthrunners Tabi Socks: I’ve owned these for a while. I like wearing them with my sandals. Material: 53% Merino Wool, 30% Nylon, 12% Acrylic & 5% Lycra Spandex Price: $20 ($18 when you use MAESTRA - 10% off) . And if you missed part 1: . I convinced my husband to wear barefoot shoes with these red @lemsshoes on spring 2020. . I then bought him: ️ @vivobarefoot ️ @xeroshoes ️ @mukishoes ️ @tadeevo . And he did not like any of them, but he would wear the Lems Primal. . I have found all of these shoes secondhand in new condition. There are many people out there that buy barefoot shoes and dislike their characteristics: zero drop wide toe box flexibility . As you can see on the second picture, he wore the red pair until they almost got holes! . He wore the grey pair, but didn’t like it as much. . I then found the Boulder Boots and my husband has been wearing them for 2 seasons. . ️ none of these old models have mold️ . He is now wearing these @newbalance minimus . In a previous post, I shared how my husband is trying to adjust to his @wildling.shoes … his feet hurt when he wears them. . @lemsshoes have thicker soles so going from 12 mm to 4 mm has been challenging for his feet. . The last picture shows the shoes he wore before: @brooksrunning Ghost. . He has stopped rolling his ankles since he stopped wearing them! . Im helping my spouse transition to barefoot shoes. . You know I love barefoot shoes, but my spouse has been more reluctant. . We recently received these @wildling.shoes Tanuki Umi and as soon as he tried them, he told me his feet hurt. . We added an extra pair of insoles to provide more cushion He’s rotating them with his other shoes. I want him to add foot exercises, but that is not happening, yet. .
