Dendrobates tinctorius ‘Oyapock’ can be mildly variable in both color and markings. They are bone white on the head and back, tapering into a baby blue on their legs. This sometimes tapers a step further into a darker, rich blue. They typically have spots or splotches all over their bodies and legs. The Chuxiong fire-bellied newt (Cynops cyanurus) is a species of salamander in the family Salamandridae that is endemic to China where it is only found in Guizhou and Yunnan. Dorsum is blue green or brown in coloration. The skin directly above the vertebral column and legs is brown. The upper tailfin fold is also brown, while the lower tailfin fold is a conspicuous orange color. Cloud-like orange blotches are present on the venter. There are also orange spots around the edge of the mouth and behind the eyes. Dendrobates tinctorius (Green Sipaliwini) is a very variable poison dart frog, most young Dendrobates tinctorius 'Green Sipaliwini' are mostly green in color with a varying degree of black spots. The green can range from a very dark, deep green to a light yellow in some individuals. Spots can be large in some individual Green Sipaliwini, but generally are less than 1cm across. Green Sipaliwini tincs can become blue or yellow in coloration with age.
